Special train to Schandau / 26th Kirnitzschtal Festival

With the traditional train "Niederlausitz" to the 26th Kirnitzschtalbahn, hop on and enjoy the ride in our catered traditional train - it's a relaxed journey into the Saxon Switzerland to Bad Schandau. Upon arrival, you will take the ferry across the Elbe (the bridge is unfortunately closed). From there, the nostalgic "Kirnitzschtalbahn" will take you into one of the most beautiful valleys in the region. This weekend, the Kirnitzschtal hosts the 26th Kirnitzschtalfest. Along the route of the valley, you can expect historical tram trains from the years 1926, 1928, and 1938 in traditional service, an open depot with a colorful marketplace, and lively performances from jugglers and culinary delights offered along the way. Instead of the festival, you can also explore nature or the charming town of Bad Schandau on your own.
