22. Pulsnitzer Gingerbread Market Unique in all of Germany! On the first weekend of November, the small town of Pulsnitz transforms into the "Gingerbread City." Since 2003, this one-of-a-kind gingerbread market has attracted thousands of visitors every year and has long become a cherished tradition. Known far beyond the borders of Saxony, gingerbread has been baked here since 1558. Eight family-run gingerbread bakeries and a gingerbread factory continue to preserve this old craftsmanship to this day. The market is a celebration for the whole family: in addition to sweet temptations, you can expect artisan stalls, exhibitions in museums and workshops, as well as colorful entertainment with puppet theater, carousels, and pony rides. Those who wish can get creative at the gingerbread museum and decorate their own gingerbread. Regional specialties and numerous culinary offerings ensure your physical well-being. And for those who want, we will continue on to Dresden and enjoy a city stroll on our own. Our journey starts in Luckau – aboard a well-heated traditional train, we will travel to Pulsnitz, then on to Dresden, and in the evening, we will return relaxed.
