RangerTour: Bird Watching - Winter Guests in the Meadow

The flooded floodplain attracts numerous winter guests to the Lower Oder Valley National Park every year. Many bird species can be observed in the floodplain landscape. Equipped with spotting scopes and binoculars, participants will walk along the dikes with a ranger to see the winter visitors. With a bit of luck, you might see and hear the noisy whooper swans or observe various species of ducks and geese. This tour focuses on birdwatching and shared experiences, rather than the distance covered. Afterwards, the town of Schwedt offers various local establishments for warming up and dining. Experience: the impressive spectacle of numerous winter guests in the nature-rich floodplain landscape. Registration: by Thursday, January 22 (5-20 participants). Duration: approximately 2 hours. Note: Binoculars, weatherproof and warm clothing are recommended. This tour is part of the "Ranger and Experience Tours" program.
