Every Tuesday, there is a lunchtime organ music event at St. Nicolai Church. A variety of organ pieces and composers can be heard, primarily, of course, the father of Protestant church music, Johann Sebastian Bach. But other masterpieces are also performed. Various organists bring the Jehmlich organ to life. This instrument has been in the church as a temporary solution since 1972. Therefore, donations for the acquisition of a new organ are collected at the exit.
