Winter concert with the Free Orchestra Berlin

On the penultimate Sunday in February, a concert to promote young emerging artists will take place at St. Nicolai Church. With his 5th Symphony, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy pays musical tribute to the reformer Martin Luther and Protestantism. It is therefore also referred to as the Reformation Symphony. The chorale "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" has found its way into the fourth movement of Mendelssohn's symphony.
