RangerTour: Biking to the Wild Geese

Bird Migration. The meadows and fields west of Storkow are popular resting places for wild geese. During migration season, thousands of birds gather there. The guests from the far north and the east usually spend the nights on larger bodies of water in the vicinity. We will first cycle to the geese's resting places. Through binoculars and a spotting scope, we can identify the characteristics of the different species. At sunset, we will reach the Groß Schauener lake chain, where we want to observe the evening arrival of the geese at their sleeping waters. The bike excursion begins and ends in Storkow, covering a distance of approximately 15 kilometers. Notes: Please remember to bring a functioning bike light, binoculars, as well as warm and weatherproof clothing, and possibly a warming drink.
