Encounter with the "Green Nines" - The traditional nine-herb soup

In some areas of Germany, the nine-herb soup is still prepared today in the early spring days or traditionally on Maundy Thursday. The wild herbs vary from region to region. However, always included are ground elder, nettle, and dandelion, which are full of vital nutrients at this time in early spring. During our herb walk in the Lower Oder Valley National Park, we want to collect typical edible wild herbs for this early season and then prepare and taste a nine-herb soup. Weather permitting, we will cook over a campfire. Please remember to wear suitable footwear and clothing. Registration is required!
