RangerTour: Spring Tour to the Ice Age Land

Concert Spring. An April day in the Lower Oder Valley: the vibrant diversity of a floodplain landscape after its winter slumber. With limitless views over the valley and exciting details about its history. Short hikes (approx. 3-4 km) at various locations in the dynamic moraine landscape. Through spring-colored forests and over meadows that may already be buzzing with life. The route goes through the floodplain after the winter high waters. Nature encounters are on the agenda, as well as a stop at an inn featuring recommended regional cuisine. Experience: Spring-colored forests, frog concerts, and bird watching, history of the Oder Valley. Registration: by Tuesday, March 24 (5-14 participants). Duration: approx. 8 hours. Distance: short hikes of about 3-4 km. Notes: Shuttle service to the excursion area provided by the Nature Conservation Authority, meeting point: Angermünde train station, weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear required, binoculars recommended.
