Herb and Ceramic Days at Chorin Monastery

Traditionally, the first weekend in October is dedicated to ceramics and garden herbs, and the brick monastery provides the perfect setting for this. In addition to the opening of the special exhibition featuring ceramic objects by Dörte Michaelis in the Infirmarium, you can expect a market with selected and handcrafted functional ceramics, ceramic jewelry, (garden) objects, and plants, open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. There will also be a variety of creative activities for the whole family. The Okno Theater will perform at 1 PM and 3 PM in the medieval vaulted cellar (for children aged 4 and up). A white lady haunts and guards her supplies. Craft a monastery ghost and let it dance in black light. From 12 PM to 5 PM, the open printing workshop: The new printing workshop at the Chorin Monastery opens its doors. Children and teenagers, along with their adult companions, can create their own artworks and try out various techniques under guidance. At 2 PM and 4 PM, Ana Rhukiz will lead her nature and cultural history walk "From Tree Gold & Bread Trees" through the monastery park and let the trees speak.
