Since 1990, the author, who was born in China, has been living in Germany and has worked in many professions. In 2005, her first collection of stories was published in German, for which she received the Chamisso Promotion Prize. Among 58 applicants, she was selected for this year's scholarship. The author will read from her latest book "Children of the Red Earth." Moderation: Anette Handke. This is a cooperative event by the Kleist Museum Foundation and Burg Beeskow.
