RangerTour: Calls of the Unken

Concert Spring. In the Lower Oder Valley National Park, numerous Fauna-Flora-Habitat (FFH) areas are protected. They are not only among the most valuable nature conservation areas in the country but also part of the Europe-wide FFH protected area network. On the occasion of NATURA 2000 Day, the Brandenburg Nature Conservation Authority invites you to a 5 km hike into the wet habitats of the European tree frog, the yellow-bellied toad, and others. During this evening hike in the Fiddichower Polder, we will follow the melodious concert of the singers into the floodplain landscape. With a bit of luck, we might get quite close to them. Feel free to bring a small picnic. Alternatively, the nearby town center of Schwedt offers a good option for dinner before the Ranger Tour.
