Pension Havelknick – Chaos booked and confusion included

The special comedy for the 30th anniversary of Lichtblick

The thrill-seeking Philipp Klapproth wants to experience real adventures during his visit to Berlin so he can boast about them at the regulars' table in the quaint town of Rathenow. He is eager to meet genuine "crazy" people and asks his nephew Alfred to organize an evening at a mental institution. In the absence of such an establishment, Alfred quickly books the adventurer into the "Pension Havelknick" and claims it is the desired facility. Klapproth is thrilled and has a wonderful time with the guests staying there. From his perspective, the eccentric and quirky residents all have "a little quirk." He encounters a theatrical actor with a speech impediment, a peculiar big-game hunter with live luggage, a sharp-witted retired major, and an exceedingly curious author. Back in Rathenow, Klapproth shares his experiences. However, his laughter fades when the supposed "patients" suddenly appear at his door. Soon, the question arises: When is one actually crazy, and when is one normal? The Lichtblick Theater promises a theatrical delight that will keep the laughter flowing. The stage classic "Pension Schöller" is presented in a new guise and adapted for the KUZ stage by Stefan Schulz-Raupach.
