Our destination, the Silesian Christmas Market in Görlitz, is popular far beyond the national borders. Nestled in the old town, surrounded by twinkling lights and accompanied by festive Christmas music, this is arguably the most family-friendly market in Germany. Thousands of visitors flock here each year to gather, stroll, and relax. Christmas comes to life, and a specially crafted dialogue nativity scene tells the Christmas story. At 4:00 PM, the Christkind announces its message on stage.

In addition to the train ride and the Christmas market reminiscent of Grandma and Grandpa's times, you have the opportunity to enjoy the charm of one of the oldest industrial heritage sites, the Landskron Culture Brewery. Besides a tour of the traditional brewery with beer tasting, the extensive offerings include delicious Mutz roast and a wide range of souvenirs related to the brewery.
