Painting in the Country House Old Forge

The Berlin artists Liane Käs and Heidrun Kohlhaas are showcasing their art at the Landhaus Alte Schmiede. In the hall, winter garden, and blacksmith room, works can be seen that engage with nature, landscape, and architecture. The exhibition features oil and acrylic paintings as well as watercolors. Liane Käs's paintings are inspired by the buildings and landscapes of Karl Friedrich Schinkel and Peter-Joseph Lenné, including motifs from Petzow, Lake Schwielow, and Rügen. Heidrun Kohlhaas presents a selection of more abstract views from Brandenburg and the Fläming region, as well as images on the themes of water and light. She sees painting as an open process between intention and letting go, shaped by individual perception and personal experience.
