The young, wonderful soprano Serafina Starke, after successful performances at the Salzburg Festival, with the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics, is currently a member of the International Opera Studio of the Berlin State Opera this season and has already appeared in several productions there. Together with Matthias Glander, solo clarinetist of the Staatskapelle Berlin, and Matthias Samuil, pianist, sought-after song accompanist, and lecturer at music colleges in Berlin and Rostock, they will present a program featuring works by Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Giacomo Meyerbeer, among others, under the title "Longing for Spring."
