"Fairy-tale Morocco" by VW bus through the kingdom

In early 2017, Conny Schefter and Frank Moerke set off for 2 months in their VW bus from Grünheide to Morocco. The journey took them through France and Spain. From there, they crossed over to the African kingdom by ferry. Their route led them through the Rif Mountains, known for hemp cultivation and drug trafficking. They continued on to the ancient royal city of Fez and crossed the High Atlas, which they traversed on a narrow track at over 2,900 meters in altitude, before heading into the Sahara. Although their VW bus did not have four-wheel drive, they off-roaded around the dune area of Erg Chebbi and also reached Erg Chegaga. The sand plates and shovel were not on board for nothing.
