TRAVELING EXHIBITION "BETWEEN ARCHITECTURE AND NATURE"

An exhibition in collaboration with Neuruppin's partner city Nymburk on the occasion of its 750th anniversary. The photographer Jiří Jiroušek has spent years capturing many cities and landscapes of the Czech Republic from the air – using a powered paraglider. The result is impressive photography from an unusual perspective. The photos are complemented by historical postcards of the city of Nymburk, providing a glimpse into the past of Neuruppin's partner city. The exhibition also features the photographer's images of other Czech locations, sparking curiosity about exploring our neighboring country. The opening of the exhibition will take place on November 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, accompanied by Marek Ďurčanský, a historian at Charles University in Prague, who will give a lecture on the history of the city of Nymburk.
