Wilderness Tour: Cultural Landscape Meets Wilderness Area

On this early summer hike, get to know the wilderness area of Tangersdorf. The starting point is the village of Annenwalde, which was founded in the 18th century as the site of a glassworks. The tour begins at the Schinkel Church and leads through pasture landscapes to the entrance of the nature reserve. Along a varied path through different forest zones, we will discuss how the wilderness area was created and why wilderness areas are important for animals, plants, and humans. During the hike, we will observe and count butterflies. After the return journey along Lake Densow, the café of the glassworks can be visited (at your own expense).
