Inspired by Masterpieces - The Artist Günter Hartung

Who doesn't know the masterpieces of Lucas Cranach, Peter Paul Rubens, Caspar David Friedrich, Claude Monet, or Vincent van Gogh? They are all important components of the world cultural heritage and represent very specific developments in the visual arts. They influenced many artists who, in turn, tried to approach their role models by learning painting techniques or using stylistic devices.
