This tasting offers an insight into the production and maturation of whisky. Starting with a New Make (raw distillate), the tasting progresses through several aging stages to long-matured whiskies. The influences of cask type, aging time, and climate are explained. After a brief theoretical introduction, a guided tasting follows. Participants learn to analyze the whiskies sensorially and categorize aromas and intensity. Additionally, the whisky sommelier provides information on production methods, regions, and the unique characteristics of each bottling. The price includes six different whiskies, water and bread for neutralization, as well as a accompanying brochure.
