Advent concert in the Catholic church

On Sunday, December 7th, the traditional Advent concert of the PCK Senior Citizens' Association choir and the Schwedt City Choir will take place in the Catholic Church. About 50 singers from both choirs are preparing for this event through numerous rehearsals and additional workshops under the direction of Dagmar Budnick and Renate Löwe. The carefully selected sequence of songs prominently features traditional old Christmas carols. These songs evoke beautiful childhood memories, feelings of comfort and peace—emotions that provide strength and confidence. The concert will also include the recitation of old and new Christmas verses. International Christmas songs will be performed as well, such as the classic "White Christmas" and "The Little Mountain Church." The repertoire is aimed at our loyal guests, as well as young families. "Christmas is for everyone," and many of the songs invite everyone to sing along heartily. The lyrics will be provided.
