Day of Hiking

Join us on the alternative route of the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg hiking trail from Mittenwalde to Königs Wusterhausen. The Dahme-Seenland Tourism Association invites hiking enthusiasts to a guided hike on Hiking Day. In celebration of the nomination of the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg for the title of "Germany's Most Beautiful Hiking Trail 2024," this year's hike is dedicated to the great hymn writer. The trail leads from Mittenwalde along the lesser-known southern route of stage 5 of the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg to Königs Wusterhausen. The St. Moritz Church can be visited starting at 9:00 AM. The hike is not suitable for individuals with mobility restrictions. Weather-appropriate clothing, tick protection, sturdy footwear, and hiking snacks are recommended.
