As part of the already successful format "Uckeroper fokussiert," the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod and Goethe's "Faust" will be brought together in 2026. This will create a new kind of artwork with literary and sung elements. The romantic music of Charles Gounod and the intense dialogues of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe will revitalize an eternal theme, namely the contradiction between accumulated knowledge and the inability to make responsible decisions.
