With Dr. Christina Oettmeier from the University of Münster Who is tiny, lives without a brain, and can still plan an entire city traffic system? Who eats enormous amounts of oatmeal, behaves like an animal, yet is neither one – nor a plant or a fungus? The slime mold Blob is known among its fans for its intelligence, its eagerness to move, and its gluttony. But the person who knows it best is Dr. Christina Oettmeier from the University of Münster. She will share new and exciting insights about the old slime mold. How can it be so fast and so clever? And what does it have in common with us humans? For children aged 8 and up.
