As part of the already successful format "Uckeroper fokussiert," the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod and Goethe's "Faust" will be brought together in 2026. A new type of artwork will be created, featuring literary and sung elements. The romantic music of Charles Gounod and the intense dialogues of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe will breathe new life into an eternal theme: the contradiction between accumulated knowledge and the inability to make responsible decisions.
