As part of the already successful format "Uckeroper fokussiert," the opera "Faust" by Charles Gounod and Goethe's "Faust" will be brought together in 2026. A novel artwork will emerge, combining literary and sung elements. The romantic music of Charles Gounod and the intense dialogues of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe will revitalize an eternal theme: the contradiction between accumulated knowledge and the inability to make responsible decisions.
