Comic concert with Itay Dvori: "Above all else: Be true to yourself"

A concert that is not only heard but experienced: With his comic concert, pianist Itay Dvori brings an innovative format to the SLB Potsdam for the first time. Live music meets projected graphic novels – telling the stories of five remarkable German-Jewish women of the 20th century. Hannah Arendt, Regina Jonas, Emmy Noether, Mascha Kaléko, and Hanna Maron are at the center of this multimedia evening, which raises questions about identity, belonging, and self-determination. Dvori's specially developed, partially improvised musical interpretations merge with images and texts to create an intense, synesthetic experience. Between the comic pieces, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Six Songs Without Words op. 67 resonate – serving as a musical echo between past and present.
