21st Eco Film Tour

We invite you to the 21st Eco Film Tour! The Brandenburg Festival of Environmental and Nature Films will be hosted on February 21st with the film "Our New World – The Climate Savers" at the Cultural Station. What if nature were our most valuable ally in the fight against climate change? Scientists around the world are embarking on a journey to unlock the hidden abilities of nature – especially its unique power to capture and store carbon dioxide. Where are these natural carbon sinks located? How much CO2 can they absorb? The documentary (52 min) impressively shows: Never has nature been as important in the fight against global warming as it is today. Following the screening, there will be a film discussion with Dr. Julia Epp from the University of Sustainable Development. She researches transformation processes, and together with her, we will consider what the film's content means for our everyday lives.
