Vernissage "What a Wonderful World!" Paintings by Svetlana Andreeva

The name of the exhibition "How Beautiful is the World!" speaks for itself. Svetlana Andreeva creates unique works in acrylic on canvas. In her paintings, the beauty of the world reveals itself in all its diversity. Drawing and painting have interested Svetlana Andreeva since her school days. However, she only began to master the creation of proper paintings on canvas using various techniques in recent years. She has exhibited her works several times at the Waldstadt Library. Additionally, she and her husband organize an annual vernissage on their own property in the district of Bergholz-Rehbrücke (Nuthetal). Svetlana Andreeva hails from Moldova - the capital Chişinău. She graduated from the Moldovan State University with a degree in Bibliography and Library Science and worked as a bibliographer at the Jewish Cultural Center. Today, she works at the Foundation for Castles and Gardens. The castles, the ambiance, and the splendor inside and outside the buildings continually inspire her artistic creation. The exhibition can be visited free of charge during opening hours from February 26 to June 26, 2026.
