The Winter Hexagon - Guiding Star Constellations of the Winter Sky over the Kyritz-Ruppiner Heath

This astronomical observation evening led by certified star guide Holger Pötschick focuses on the Winter Hexagon, which brings together the guide stars of the most prominent winter constellations into a memorable figure. Not only will these guide stars be observed, but also their corresponding constellations, their myths, and some outstanding celestial objects through the telescope. Another thematic focus will be on several open star clusters in the nearby galactic environment (which can also be observed very well with binoculars - if available, please bring your own!) as well as the great Orion Nebula.
