On the occasion of the birthday of Joseph Victor von Scheffel, the Hochrheinmuseum Schloss Schönau is dedicating a special exhibition to this influential personality of the city. The focus will be on Scheffel's life and work, as well as the significance of "The Trumpeter of Säckingen" for the identity of the "Trumpeter City." Historical exhibits, selected documents, and vivid presentations will bring literary and local history to life. The exhibition will be opened with a vernissage, accompanied by a diverse supporting program featuring guided tours, lectures, and cultural events.
