The Frankfurt (Oder) train station is the most important passenger station in the city of Frankfurt (Oder). It is one of the most significant train stations in the state of Brandenburg. It serves local and long-distance passenger transport and has been a border station for traffic with Poland since 1945. The station has undergone significant renovations multiple times. A building on the site of the first Frankfurt station, located north of the current station, is listed as a historical monument, as is the residential complex Kiliansberg, built as a railway workers' settlement, located at the station square, which features a memorial for railway workers who fell in World War I.
