"Shards" Renaissance-Baroque Folk-ART of the group "ANTIQUA"

Old music - presented in a relaxed manner, is the mission of the Potsdam group "ANTIQUA," which has been active for over 42 years. Despite the range covering the Middle Ages, Baroque, folk music, and contemporary influences, the focus is on music from the 16th to 18th centuries. Madrigals, courtly instrumentals, and dance music are "fragments" from a time that now seems highly interesting again. The combination of historical instruments and original vocal arrangements with modern adaptations fascinates us. Fragments as building blocks for new music! Choral singing, historical instruments such as the cornemuse, hurdy-gurdy, and crumhorns, along with surrounding stories, ensure a varied and contemplative 90 minutes.
