In the concert series "Music School Opens Churches" in the state of Brandenburg, the UMKS, in collaboration with St. Marienkirche Angermünde, is organizing a benefit concert for the valuable Baroque organ by Joachim Wagner (1742-44). The Baroque organ is set to undergo extensive restoration in the coming years. The chamber choir and selected ensembles of the UMKS will perform together with the choir of the St. Marienkirche congregation under the direction of Dorothea Janowski and Maria Schella, totaling 80 participants.
