Printing in the lithography workshop with the artist Geli Schulze transforms the old technique of lithography (stone printing) into a creative experience. She explains the process of lithography and printing with the historical press step by step to children aged nine and up. This traditional stone printing method, which was used to produce the Neuruppin picture sheets in the past, is not only demonstrated but also made practically accessible. With imagination and a spirit of experimentation, children can develop their own winter motifs and implement them using the technique known as kitchen lithography – all in the spirit of delicate ice crystals and wintry shapes.
