Exhibition | Brandenburg Art Stories: FLYERS

Frauke Beeck has been working on historical female monuments in public spaces since 2020. She is now embarking on a quest in Brandenburg and proposes a female monument for Rangsdorf – what could be more fitting than engaging with the local female aviators using her spray technique? Barbara Noculak approaches the theme of flying with large photos, text drawings, text rolls, wall newspapers, and photo sequences.

For the opening, dancer and choreographer Takako Suzuki (鈴木孝子), a member of the company "Sasha Waltz & Guests" since its founding, will perform. Inspired by the history of aviation and the dilapidated airfield in Rangsdorf, Takako will dance through the interior and exterior spaces of the gallery.
