Theater on the Edge: Dialogue Lab "Law"

Dialog-Labor is our new format in cooperation with brand eins, the magazine for economy and society. Through conversations, readings, and music, we engage with Germany. Together with representatives from the fields of art, science, business, journalism, and especially civil society – that’s you, our audience – we examine the state, development, and future of our society and interpret Germany in three acts: Unity, Justice, and Freedom. These three terms are at the beginning of the German national anthem. We read them as the essence of our social consensus. A consensus that is under pressure like never before: tensions are brewing between parties, between rich and poor, between urban and rural areas, and society is drifting apart. Let’s put these terms to the test: What does Unity mean today? How do we define Justice? What significance does Freedom hold? And above all: Do these terms still uphold the promises we have long associated with them?
