The Dementia Traveling Exhibition: Everyday Situations of People with Dementia

Dementia still encounters ignorance, uncertainty, and misunderstanding in society. The traveling exhibition "Everyday Situations of People with Dementia" addresses this topic and will present motifs from the DEMENSCH series by cartoonist Peter Gaymann at the Care Support Center in Frankfurt (Oder) from January 26 to February 27, 2026. The drawings depict everyday situations of people with dementia as well as a compassionate and humorous approach to the diagnosis. The Care Support Center and the Volkssolidarität Frankfurt (Oder) e.V., in cooperation with the Alzheimer Society Brandenburg e.V. Self-Help for Dementia, invite you to approach the topic from a different perspective. The exhibition will be opened on Monday, January 26 at 2:00 PM. Interested individuals, those affected, and their relatives are invited to the meeting place of Volkssolidarität, Logenstraße 1.
