The opening event and at the same time one of the highlights of the Lübbenau Cultural Summer. In the beautiful setting of the Rose Garden – between the Castle Park and the Great Harbor – this year's weekend is dedicated, in addition to traditional crafts, regional specialties, and Sorbian-Wendish customs, primarily to traditional costumes. Not only the Spreewald costume will be showcased, but also costumes from all over Germany – from southern Bavaria to East Frisia. The GERMAN TRADITIONAL COSTUME DAY 2026 is a guest in Lübbenau this weekend, promising visitors a colorful weekend and a diverse program.
