Sunday Tours in the Schorfheide - Wild and Beautiful - East Side of Lake Werbellin

The tour begins at a place that evokes memories for many: in the former "Pioneer Republic" at Lake Werbellin, now the seezeit-resort. The idyllic location continues to attract people from near and far. The path leads to one of the most beautiful spots in the Schorfheide: the wild northeastern shore of Lake Werbellin. Spectacular views over the lake are guaranteed. There are magnificent old beech trees to admire. Thomas Röhlinger, a certified nature and landscape guide, will lead the way through the Schorfheide. However, a warning is in order: this hike is not easy in some sections. Sure-footedness and good fitness are prerequisites. Don't forget to bring provisions. In case of continuous rain or severe weather warnings, a short-term cancellation of the tour is possible. The hike is at your own risk. Meeting point: 10:00 AM at the parking lot on the premises of the seezeit-resort (paid parking). Duration: approximately 4 hours (8 km), maximum 15 participants. Registration through the Tourist Information Groß Schönebeck is required by Saturday at 12 PM before the hike, either by phone or email.
