Dialogue Stage Extra: Music Moves!

A glimpse into the creative sound workshop of "The Cherry Orchard" In this special dialogue stage, we focus on the question of how the sound design for our theater productions is created. Using the example of the new summer theater production "The Cherry Orchard," we want to provide insight into how musical elements for the play are found through dialogue between the director and the musicians. In an estate deep in Russia, a society from lively Paris arrives. Moods blend together, and this becomes immediately tangible in the third act during the dance of the quadrille, a dance that is half courtly and half folk. We invite interested individuals to come and see how this dance is performed. Then, together with the ensemble, we will dare to dance into May – of course, with a guided quadrille beforehand.
