The name sounds bombastic, and indeed COLOSSEUM is something like a dinosaur in the history of rock music: a collective of incredibly virtuosic soloists, yet still maintaining a cohesive, compact sound and always very innovative musically in various configurations. The double album "Colosseum Live" can certainly still be confidently regarded as a gem in the history of rock music today. In 2026, the "Colossus" will once again be on the move to the delight of numerous fans. Under the motto "Out Into The Fields," the originals Chris Farlowe, Clem Clempson & Mark Clarke will present not only Colosseum classics like "Lost Angeles" & the "Valentyne Suite," but also songs from the new studio album "XI" (Repertoire Records).
