Exhibition "In the Forest" – Oil Paintings by Sebastian Eschenbach at the Angermünde Town Hall

Sebastian Eschenbach has lived and worked in Uckermark for over 20 years. Even in his childhood, he spent a lot of time in the forest, which for him was a place of silence, protection, and inspiration. This early influence continues to shape his artistic work today. In addition to his work as a painter, Eschenbach also works as a documentary filmmaker and travels worldwide. However, his special connection to the Uckermark forests remains and finds expression in his paintings. The works consciously avoid narrative directives and leave room for individual perceptions. The forest appears as a mysterious counterpart – protective, demanding, and simultaneously open to personal associations. The exhibition "In the Forest" invites visitors to pause and experience the forest as a place of inner resonance and quiet intensity.
