From Ice Cellar to Spring Awakening - Explorer Tour to the Watchtower and the Manor House Köpernitz

Venue: Start at Triangelplatz | Hidden locations are the destinations of this discovery tour, which is aimed at all age groups across generations. With a tour guide and engaging break stations that offer experiences for families with children along the way, the tour begins on foot (and for picnic baskets and the youngest, possibly with a cart) from the starting point at Rheinsberger Triangelplatz. Here, the former ice cellar of the castle is hidden beneath the green space. The tour continues past the Lustgarten of the Rheinsberg Castle Park towards the watchtower hidden in the forest, once a "point de vue" in Rheinsberg. At the watchtower, an adventure treasure hunt will be organized, in which children can participate with their grandparents and parents. A picnic break will take place on the crocus meadow near the tower. Children can artistically depict their spring experiences on a roll of paper. For those who are not as mobile, a paid transfer option will be available from Triangelplatz or from the watchtower for the return or onward journey. From the watchtower, a visit to the Köpernitz manor would be possible. Here too, there are intergenerational offerings and a snack related to the historical role of the former outbuilding of the castle. A paid transfer will be offered for the return to Rheinsberg.
