Traditional Jazz – Blues – Swing in the Old School Barn

For over 20 years, the small stage has been reserved for masters of Dixieland every second weekend in August. Once again, the Dixie Brothers from Berlin will be our guests. The band is returning to the school barn for the third time and has thrilled the audience during their previous performances. The Dixie Brothers - The best from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s! This style is what the Dixie Brothers have dedicated themselves to with heart and soul. For over 20 years, the seven-member band has been a part of the Berlin music scene and many German jazz clubs. With sophisticated arrangements and a lot of joy in music, swing and dixie "standards" are interpreted in a refreshing and modern way. Film songs, blues, old hits, and Latin numbers complete the repertoire. The Dixie Brothers are an experienced live formation: whether in the well-known Berlin jazz venues or at national and international festivals, the Dixie Brothers almost always hit the right note with their many years of experience.
