Encounter paintings created in various techniques and formats - natural, expressive, fairy-tale-like. Martina Bittner lives near the Oder-Spree Canal. Throughout the year, she explores our lake and river landscapes with her sketchbook. Her diary also contains impressions in the form of sketches and studies from the Baltic Sea, Mediterranean, and Atlantic. From these, she creates oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, drawings, and mixed media in her studio. Not all of them are merely realistic representations. It becomes interesting when a painting is infused with special life. An artist is free to shape nature according to their abilities, ideas, and dreams: it can be playful, fantastic, abstract, or even surreal.
