City Tour: Locomotive Shed Tour

Steam locomotives have lost none of their fascination to this day. No wonder, as no other vehicle embodies the primal elements of fire, water, and coal so impressively in terms of power and speed. In 1997, the gates of the Wittenberge railway depot closed. In 2012, steam and diesel locomotives returned – the historic locomotive shed was opened. During the tour of Brandenburg's largest railway museum, the Reichsbahn chief secretary will guide you through the grounds. Look forward to an extensive collection of vehicles, a functional turntable, and the signal box dating back to 1909. This tour will delight not only railway enthusiasts.
