Bal Folk Course

Bal Folk is an ideal introduction to the world of dancing: a mix of fun, music, joy of movement, and sociability. The Bal Folk movement originally comes from France but is also very popular across the rest of Europe and among all generations. Many dances can be joined immediately without prior knowledge, and finding a dance partner can be done without much formality. In some dances, partner changes occur every few measures anyway. This way, you get to know almost everyone present over the course of an evening of dancing. Many circle, couple, and line dances such as Cercle Circassien, waltz, mazurka, schottische, bourrée, Hanter-Dro, etc., can be quickly joined without prior experience. It becomes exciting when it comes to dancing as a couple. Here, there are surprisingly subtle, intimate, fun, and lively variations.
