DANZERMANIA IS GOING ON TOUR

Since 2008, friends and companions of the much-too-early deceased composer and author GEORG DANZER, who can undoubtedly be considered one of the greatest song poets of our country, have been celebrating the birthday of the beloved artist every year. Under the title "Danke Danzer" and since 2016 also under the title "DanzerMania," concerts have taken place in Vienna every October, during which the Danzer band musicians LENNY DICKSON, THOMAS MORA, and MARTIN MADER, along with ANDY BAUM, MATTHIAS KEMPF, co-initiator CHRISTIAN BECKER, and numerous local stars from music and cabaret, celebrate the countless songs of Danzer.

The band with the aforementioned performers, supported by the powerful vocal and comedic artists TINI KAINRATH and EVA MARIA MAROLD, as well as other guests who will vary from place to place but will certainly bring heart and joy (more information to follow), will celebrate the great successes as well as special highlights and the life of Danzer on stages across Austria, ensuring unforgettable evenings together with the audience.

The manager and friend of the honoree, BLACKY SCHWARZ, supports the gathering of friends on and off stage with witty words and the spirit he brings from years of collaboration with Georg Danzer. Now, for the milestone birthday in 2026, and in honor of a musician who was also known and loved for his social commitment and backbone, and especially now, in tumultuous times like the present, surely waves down from a cloud as a reminder, the DanzerMania band has decided to travel across the country and not just perform in the federal capital.

So we hereby declare: The DANZER YEAR 2026!
