Bayreuth Festival Orchestra

In 2026, the Bayreuth Festival House will celebrate its 150th anniversary. The only work specifically created for Bayreuth is "Parsifal," which premiered in July 1882. As the second Bayreuth guest performance after 2024, Pablo Heras-Casado will conduct excerpts from the stage consecration festival play with Austrian chamber singer Andreas Schager in the title role.
